1. Who this covers

• Merchants: restaurants and businesses using Redy to operate their point of sale
• Guests: customers who transact at a merchant location using Redy

2. Information we collect

From Merchants, when you sign up and use the Services:

• Name, business name, address, email, phone number
• Tax identification number and banking information (for payment processing)
• Menu, employee, and operational data you enter into the platform

From Guests, when you transact at a merchant using Redy:

• Phone number (if you voluntarily provide it to receive a receipt)
• Transaction information: items ordered, date, payment method, amount
• Order history associated with your phone number at that merchant

We do not collect guest payment card data directly — card processing is handled by our payment processor (North/PayAnywhere) under their own security standards.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• Provide, operate, and support the Services
• Send transactional SMS messages (order receipts, order confirmations) to guests who opt in
• Process payments and maintain transaction records
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
• Improve and develop the Services

4. SMS Communications

Redy and the merchants using our platform may send you transactional text messages if you opt in by providing your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box at checkout.

• Message types: Order receipts and order confirmations
• Frequency: One message per transaction
• Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
• To opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time
• To get help: Reply HELP or email support@useredy.com
• Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase
• Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share your number only with the messaging providers that deliver these texts on our behalf (such as Twilio), and never for their own marketing.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

5. Merchant responsibilities

Merchants using Redy to send SMS messages to their customers are responsible for ensuring that customers have provided consent to receive those messages. Merchants may not add, modify, or use a customer's phone number without that customer's explicit request or consent.

6. How we share your information

We share personal information only as necessary to provide the Services:

• With merchants: when you transact at their location, the merchant receives your order details and, if provided, your phone number
• With service providers: payment processors, SMS providers (Twilio), hosting providers (Supabase, Vercel) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations
• For legal compliance: when required by law, court order, or regulatory authority
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and comply with our legal obligations. Transaction records are generally retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. Guest phone numbers associated with SMS opt-in are retained until you opt out or request deletion.

8. Your rights and choices

You may:

• Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP
• Request access or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@useredy.com
• California residents: see Section 10 below for additional rights

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. California residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and how we use it
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

11. Children

Our Services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
